I think if the Police report for that instance was released, and people in that room declared it was a party and that Boris didn’t just turn up to say goodbye then fair enough. His red box being centre stage suggests work either took place before or was about to take place immediately after.……

I can’t even understand any individual defending Johnson anymore…guy is obviously a scumbag and not fit for high office, the people who adore him just simply don’t care. It’s a bit weird…but each to their own as it’s impossible for him to do much wrong in their eyes.

I’ve been a bit meh about the whole partygate thing by now because it just doesn’t surprise me at all that they broke their own rules, changed their story countless times, tried to cover up the report and the met seemingly half assed large parts of the inquiry.

If I had lost someone due to covid during that period and I saw that picture this evening I’d be apoplectic.

Whatever you think of the conservatives as a party historically I think Johnson is so far removed from any of those values anyway - He is just a despicable human being and eventually it’ll all catch up with him.

Then why did other people in that particular party get fined then ? Cover up, disgrace and you know it and all the fuss and rejoicing smugness you shown over Sir Kids Starmer's one bottle of beer. Caught red handed, caught full on lying in Parliament admit he should be sacked, it's too late for a resignation now, shame on all Tories who support him as well.

Old news Pete, from a long ago Prime Minister, nothing to do with Johnson misleading Parliament, lying to the House, partying while over a hundred and fifty thousand people died, following his laws and rules, those laws and rules him and his party couldn't be arsed following. Give it up, the man is a fraud without an ounce of honour or integrity to his name and he is deeply damaging the Conservative party.
