I‘m sure that in your tiny mind that your post makes some kind of sense…..
Quite some comeback that was @peteblue. You couldn't do me a favour and explain David Frost's attributes that make you think he could lead the tories could you? You might be as well ignoring the total debacle that was his stint as Johnson's co negotiator regarding the Irish Sea border (you know, the lies, false promises, empty promises, and then backing out like a coward).
Sorry for having to explain it to you...

That’s quite alright, it’s good to see you post actual words and sentences formed to create a position or argument instead of two or three word insults.

Frost obviously didn’t get the Brexit deal right, needing to get something in place asap and under the mess left behind by May. However, he was the first to point out that the way the EU are interpreting and applying the protocol was detrimental to the U.K. and needed changing. He is a respected negotiator, he resigned his position because he knew Boris was trying to be a good guy to the EU (fatal mistake, as also tried by May) but that it was no longer right for the U.K. and NI.

While I still want Boris to lead the U.K. , as I’ve seen no one else who could do so, Frost at least shows a desire to do the right thing and admit when it isn’t working. He may not be the most astute politician, but is head and shoulders above the likes of Starmer……

The two or three words are normally reserved for nonsense/WUM posts that do not merit debate. Your idol, Johnson, appointed an unelected, previously pro EU (like Johnson himself) lacky in David Frost. Like Johnson, he would do or say anything to better himself. He was in way out of his depth with the EU (see Davies, Raab, Truss etc) and very soon realised that he'd gone on a lie too far when the loyalists started making demands of him. He then backed out using some pithy excuse about the direction Johnson was taking. He's just another blagging, spineless, chinless, humiliated non entity Tory.

Try a different wind up...

You may, or may not be correct. How do you rate Starmer btw…..

Frost as a potential replacement for Johnson :hayee: :hayee: :hayee: :hayee:

A man ambushed by his own negotiation and agreement.

Starting to think the "alcohol kills brain cells" myth might have some truth to it.

Wernicke -Korsakoff...

Lord Frost as PM! There is a reason for becoming a Lord and it's not to become Prime Minister after being a hapless tool who headed up UKs largest act of self harm there is no way, Frost is off on his trotters as they say.
Although installing Johnson and voting for him and his party to become government has potential dethrone the latter.

This David Frost, who when he represented the Scottish Whisky industry said this to a select committee prior to the referendum?

“When we get to the referendum, I hope it is a real debate about everything that Europe offers. You mentioned quite a few of those things: I would add the single market and single trade policy to that.

“Although estimates vary about how much wealth the single market generates for the UK, since we joined, it’s probably in the order of five, six seven, eight per cent uplift to GDP.

“For somebody on an average salary that’s about £1,500 a year. Most people think that that’s worth having. I think when you put it in those terms, there’s a very clear benefit, that because we don’t see it every day, we’ve kind of forgotten about it. But it is there, and we’d begin to lose it if we weren’t part of it.”
It's quite hard to fathom how you don't realise that you're being taken for a mug by a bunch of grifters who would sell their gran if it meant they personally could get ahead. They're not the ideologues you think they are.

Everyone looks better with beer goggles on Bruce, But Boris, wow, that's stretching it quite a bit.lol

Frost is a Life Peer. I don’t believe they can jack the job, once they’ve joined the unelected and unaccountable gang.

If I’m right, he can’t become an MP, so can’t be PM, thankfully.

If you're going to allow MPs to take their phones into the Commons you have to accept that they're going to use them sometimes for non-parliamentary purposes such as checking train times, stock quotes, racing results and flirty texting. They're only human (apart from Rees-Mogg obviously).
And so I was prepared to forgive the porn guy until he appeared on my screen wearing a sort of cardy with padded shoulders saying he must have taken leave of his senses etc.
Get him out of here now!

….in all seriousness he must have some sort of addiction to do it where he did. What is being overlooked is that he’s another liar, as when first questioned about the incident he said it was an attachment he opened, now he’s admitted looking the website up on the 2nd occasion.
