Rwanda policy is disgusting. Not surprised though, struggling to think of a potential policy that would surprise me. Actually I would be shocked if they had a policy that showed empathy.
Corbyn. Last Labour Government. How did we end up with such a callous, evil bunch of chancers at the top of our government?
There was an interesting piece in the Economist this week looking at why so many countries are refusing to get into line behind the west against Russia, such as when trying to expel them from the UN Human Rights Council. Long story short is we've treated these countries like crap for centuries so it should hardly be a surprise. What a repulsive heartless policy, unbelievable this can go through without sheer outrage. I say again, those who enabled this government should be utterly ashamed of themselves
Here's a thread of everything that has happened this week in Toryland. And this was posted before today's Rwanda news...
Im not sure that Rwanda is classed as a ‘safe’ country, meaning it is possible to leave and ask for asylum in another country, for persecution of political beliefs and on grounds of sexuality.
What this smacks of is human trafficking under a legalised banner. The UK should be ashamed of itself for even entertaining the idea.
