Not being able to criticise the elected leader of a country is a bit worrying, to say the least.

It’s indoctrination pure and simple. Maybe they could write letters to Tony Blair seeking the evidence for WMD, or better still to Starmer asking why he did a U turn on the EU…….

It certainly is the Tory party line . Thing is....I have a lot of years working with teachers and they are, by a large margin, conservative in my experience.

Certainly not. If pupils wish to write or state criticism then fine. But this was a teacher asking them to do so. Imagine if one of the pupils wrote the letter and congratulated the government. No doubt the teacher would have gone apoplectic and the child would have been ostracised. There’s too much politics in the world as it is, and it only ever divides and causes problems…..
