eh? they'll just replace one lying, thick scumbag for another.
More than likely, however, there are the likes of David Davis, know he gets some hate over Brexit (Binary), but myself will always will take time out to listen to him on personal freedoms the liberal life etc. He is certainly not right wing Authoritarian that some of his colleagues are in government.

No, he's a libertarian, which means he thinks the only role of government should be to protect rich people from their slaves.

Yet you keep voting Labour. So what did Blair and Brown do to drag you to the top end of the richest areas, nothing, and they never do. When Wilson was both Huyton MP and PM he at least brought in the various motorways and industry in Wilson Road. What do you seriously think Starmer will do for you…..
We’d more than likely still be in the EU if the Tories hadn’t try to con us with Brexit. Coincidentally the European capital of culture has done more for the city of Liverpool than any Tory government has.

There’s more to governing a country than rampant cuts and turning people against each other. 50k people were using food banks in 2008, yet that figure was around 2.5m in 2021 and it will surely have risen since. Starmer may or may not make any difference to my life but that statistic and the associated poverty this Tory government has forced upon the people of the country will surely be a priority point for Labour if they get in to power.

Wish he was still here.
Corbyn? The margin of the election defeat did for him. I think he would also be too easy a figure for Johnson to use as a distraction and make wild claims about as well. Unfortunately the press would dutifully go for it too as many don't want a world with his politics.

Personally not a fan of him as an individual, but I'd take his policy line on a lot of things any day of the week. Bar the EU. That wasn't marvellous lol.

The defeat was coming, but I'm sure Pete voted for him, with him being a old skool socialist and all. (he said that somewhere on here last week)
