This is all extremely grim.

I don't see how Johnson can remain in office, he's behaved appallingly and his PM-ship ending like this was as predictable as night following day from the moment he won the Tory leadership. It was always just a matter of when.

Why is all this coming out now though? Somebody has sat on this info for 18 months or so and didn't think it necessary to put into the public domain until now.

It's quite obviously because the lunatic Randian wankoffs who've taken over the Conservative Party want rid of him. The leaks are clearly co-ordinated and have Cummings, Gove and probably Sunak's fingerprints all over them.

The entire party should be dumped on a desert island to fight it out between themselves using only saws and frying pans as weapons, and the thread title needs changing back to Scummy Tories IMO, because at the moment, their behaviour falls nothing short of that, across the board.

Been having this debate elsewhere which has had labeled me the tory.

The suggestion is various journalist have known about parties from there conception and have tried to protect him. However, my belief and hope is the press have a duty of care, reporting this at the time would have undermined the message that NHS and all its science was asking all us to do.

Of course that serves those at party as well, but the greater good was to keep most of us following the message. reporting this at the time would have caused chaos and even more unnecessary death as many more people would have ignored the central message of social distancing...

Now its time to try and dispatch a very horrid Prime Minister in "Boris", many reason behind that some entirely self serving from Tories themselves, however, myself I don't care the reasoning. Just get rid of his stink, the entire country will be a better place.
