My take from the video of a remainer who is still desperately upset over Brexit. A man who did everything he could to undermine the vote of the people, who did his level best to undermine his own government and lost the confidence of his own constituency and had the whip removed prior to being beaten at the last election. He is a Francophile, who received the Legion of Honour, and apparently broadcasts on French radio and TV !!!!. He is a bitter loser of a man, who believes he knows best. Personally I think he is as big a liar as he accuses Boris of being…..

This is why I referenced the RS , its like when they blamed evra . How you explain it if it involves rational human beings , I’ve no clue.

I thought originally that people liked him because he got up the noses of remainers/the French/EU etc. and by virtue of annoying them must surely be on "our" side. Surely by now though you'd have to be a flipping idiot to believe he's out for anyone but himself, just as his government are out for anyone but themselves. He wouldn't play for his flat to be refurbished instead relied on money from the party, he has just been caught lying about this - another lie. I would argue this is just one example of him being out for himself.

One of his formerly loyal backbenchers called him a fupping half-wit yesterday. Out for himself as in trying to drop judicial oversight of anything he disagrees with, moving tighter covid restrictions that impact people's livelihoods forward by a week to keep his lies off the top of the 6 o clock news.

Out for himself as in making up quotes, lying about affairs to enhance his career.

Out for himself as in trying to dismantle the Standards Committee purely to save a crony embarrassment.

Out for himself as in giving grants of public money and favourable treatment to a woman purely to get in her pants, then lying about it. .

Out for himself as in inventing a "pilot scheme" to get out of isolating himself.

Out for himself as in... Well you get the idea. Seriously, what would he have to do to make you question his integrity?

I'm much of belief he is being dispatched by what was the Brexit wing of the party who don't buy into much if any of the COVID restrictions. They got wind of plan B was on the agenda and have had enough of him, so have started the briefing in the papers last week...
