You can say what you want. It's just not a vote winning strategy. And you need more votes... Not rocket science.

Right, but being Tory scum isn't a vote winning strategy either.

I think the onus should be on them stopping the sleazy, scummy things they do rather than me calling them sleazy scum.

And I'm not a Labour supporter. My last real vote actually was for Theresa May. I vote depending on who I feel is best at the time.

I’m not saying it’s right but I get why they don’t want to get involved. Same reason they barely did anything about Cummings.
But the MET are involved, they are the gatekeepers at Downing street.

Stopping some parties is what the MET do.

Detective Chief Superintendent Marcus Barnett, central east BCU commander, said: "This was a completely unacceptable breach of the law, which is very clearly in place to save lives and protect the NHS. An NHS that is under considerable pressure at a time when Covid-19 has killed nearly 100,000 people.

"This is a deadly and very dangerous disease. We can all see that and we must act responsibly.

"People across the country are making sacrifices by cancelling or postponing weddings and other celebrations and there is no excuse for this type of behaviour.

"My officers are working tirelessly with the community and we will not hesitate to take enforcement action if that is required to keep people safe."

But the MET can't see lawbreaking when it is happening right under their noses.

Boris Johnson supports the police for "taking action against people who flagrantly and selfishly ignore the rules", according to the prime minister's official spokesman.
The spokesman said: "Large gatherings such as that pose a health risk, not just to those who attend but those who they live with or others who they may come into contact with."

Yes, I agree. But, it's not like the Labour Party, or other parties, are all angels. They all have their own fair share of sleaze and lies... plenty of lying... and Labour have their own collection of Champaign Socialists. I just hate the lazy, old fashioned, outdated and simplistic arguments. Judge, and vote, on their modern day merits.
