Agreed, however the unconfirmed rumours currently circulating, suggest the story goes a bit further and may include a history of attendance at (and hosting) extremely relaxed and liberated social events, where unconventional singles and couples alike became very close friends.

Lots of references to the swinging sixties for some reason, perhaps indicating a musical theme to the gatherings ?

No suggestion of anything illegal of course. However, if true, the story will deffo have Telegraph and Mail readers spluttering over their All Bran. Not a great look on the old CV either, if taking the top job is a burning ambition.
