Bit of a strange decision that - the EC doesn't exactly have a stellar record of prosecuting MPs, so to hand responsibility over to the Police / CPS (who lets not forget have convicted far more MPs than the EC have, have more resources and greater independence) is almost certainly going to things being worse for the corrupt.
