Yeah I’ll remind you that I’m not actually him. Like I said in a previous post, it’s a live by the sword, die by the sword attitude he has. There are opinions he has which are ‘out there’ but he sticks by them, regardless of flak. He didn’t flop and issue some unmeant apology which we all to often see.
Interestingly enough it seems that no MP actually took that comment about food banks as a spark to actually start a debate on the subject (or a more intensive one at least) which sort of filters back to the point of MP’s being utterly faceless. You would of though somebody would have gone for the jugular there, but nope, they weren’t told to so didn’t.
It’s interesting that you mention Corbyn as an MP with a stance and that certainly is true. Is it therefore not slightly telling that in the previous few years that two perma-backbenchers have become eminently more visible by simply having clearly defined stances?
