Highest death rate, constantly running out of PPE, c'mon Pete, the vaccines and the Health service have saved us not bumbling Boris. He couldn't even be arsed going the Corona virus meetings, more interested in getting Brexit done, the man is a compulsive liar and renowned for being lazy. Who would be better, from your party, I admit I'm struggling there, all as much of a muchness. Love to see what Labour could do if they sort themselves out, Starmer looks far more intelligent, professional and determined than Boris could ever be, but your natural bias would not let you admit this.

Starmer was a waste of space before entering politics. He has continued in the same vein ever since. Even with everything building on Boris at the moment Starmer is running a waste of space of an opposition. There is none.
Boris on the other hand ran London successfully, and even though you give him no credit he is the one leader throughout the whole of Europe who successfully signed up the vaccines and deployed the inoculations. my wife and I get our second dose on Thursday, my kids will have all had a first dose by Friday. Italy still hasn’t vaccinated all of the over 80’s. Everyone I know has had a first jab, the U.K. supported businesses and individuals with grants and furlough, and while the Covid numbers are dropping through the floor, our economy is beginning to grow through the roof. I judge people on what they do, not on what they say. Boris has done a good job.....

Europe are in deep crap Covid wise, vaccinations wise, and economically. There is not a single European country that wouldn’t swap places with the U.K....perhaps you could name one....
Firstly, he didn't do all of those things singlehandedly, and quite probably didn't have much of a say in many of them at all. Secondly, wasn't the notion of "hero leadership" debunked decades ago?

Germany has roughly half the number of deaths per head of population as the UK, and whereas our economy shrank by 7.8% in 2020, the German economy shrank by 6%.
Portugal lower deaths per population and marginally lower economy shrink at 7.6.
I can confirm absolutely no country in the EU would want to be in Britain's shoes atm. Fair play on the vaccine rollout, but it is like a tiny plaster over a giant gaping axe wound of incompetence
