You need to have strong opposition party. That's healthy. Giving too much power to one party is bad. Splitting the UK would be to 'devide and conquer'.

Well in reality we are all a mish-mash of nationalities but for some they are entrenched in being a particular nationality and want to point the finger and blame for all things that go wrong. The split will allow the nationalists to blame there own ruling Government.

Imo none of the current political parties are fit for purpose and they don't represent me as a working class person.

They used lockdowns more often, so yes. They at least tried to supress this virus. They, however, live next door to a far larger and more populous neighbour, and they can only issue guidances on travel across their borders for their citizens, and commercial traffic makes their borders porous.
