Don't take it to heart. There are a few on here that are oddly obsessive about anyone asking fair and reasonable questions about immigration policy (see p.277). Indeed one person now calls me the bigot... I do wonder how they would label themselves if they had to.

Not really. I'm not so bothered about numbers coming in. It's how those extra people living here is managed, as in housing GPs, Schools hospitals, that's the big failure.

Don't much care who they are what they are, but it is the failure of successive governments not to manage infrastructure appropriately to cater for all our needs. I really believe that's the energy behind people looking to far right for answers. It's a common reaction to pull the draw bridge and become suspicious of so called outsiders, when the largest group of similar people suddenly feel pressured in their lives. I don't personally agree with this kind of answer to such problems, however, history is littered with this example here in UK and around the world.

They had similar brush off from Raab back in early December. It comes as no surprise to me that our Conservative Government will be very low key in their calls for any justice for Harry Dunn and his family. But there we are America is our ally and friend.
