Haha, I appreciate the Socratic intent of your inquiry, but it falls short of covering the logical alternatives and afaik doesn't cover the concrete options either, so please elaborate

Poor old Priti Patel. I'm sure she wasn't up to anything dodgy at all in Israel. I remember I went on holiday to Zimbabwe once, and bumped into Robert Mugabe in the lobby of the hotel I was staying in. We held several high-level meetings, played golf (18 holes in one for Uncle Bob. Go Bob!!!), went for drinks, and a most agreeable lunch. That sort of thing can happen to anyone.

The problem is the heart sometimes wants what will cause heavy damage if not limited by a practical head.

The Tories aren't great to say the least, but Corbyn as the alternative is actually part of the problem in my view and why the Tories are clinging on, because large swathes of the country and every single Tory are terrified of the idea of Corbyn in power, and sadly for all the right reasons I think.

I appreciate your opinion and to some extent I agree, however the Tories seven years in power has been a absolute disaster. Nobody will convince me that JC is a worse alternative.

I think they're both terrible parties and have been for some time. The problem with socialist Labour is that being terrible in power can have some dire consequences for a long long time, but that said the Tories have engineered Brexit which will be just as bad.

Politics hasn't been this low level since I was born. They're both unelectable to me right now.

Yup. I'm not a socialist however all I ask is that everyone has a decent standard of living and isn't having to choose between heating or eating and aren't having to pay an absolute fortune just for the pleasure of getting to work.
