5 years? The way that man is going he could easily destroy the 187 year old Tory Party.

It will get worse as well; one would hope for example that the media might notice how unusual it is that certain right wing political parties in various parts of the world are running the same arguments, at the same time, against the same sort of people, using the same systems, the same donors and often the same people.

That would be a good idea if the very same people didn't already own the media.

Even by the standards of this conference, that speech was rubbish. "We support the Police" repeated over and over again, as if it wasn't them that got rid of nearly 50000 cops and police staff, closed dozens of stations and imposed a sub-inflation pay rise every year. Nor was there any mention of what on earth they are going to do about the collapse of May's pension reform, which is currently illegal (after judges and firefighters won their court case) - just some "Police Covenant" rubbish that will inevitably mean absolutely nothing.

Then there was her boasting of sums like £20 million to tackle county lines, £25 million for "safer streets" as if they were anything like the amount required to deal with either of those phenomena. By a comparison, the 2018 Trump visit alone cost £18 million.

TBF I don't think it was two Tories fighting - from reports it was a Tory MP and a security guard who (correctly) refused to let a person without a pass that the MP was with into an area for which you needed a pass.
