I tend to agree, the problem that they've got is that it's highly likely that the Brexit transition period will end up taking us to the next election date, and she's already said she wants to stand again.
So they might be tempted to shoot her now and try and rebuild over the next 4 years or so.

I’m reasonably ok with Theresa May. If she has to go soon, then Boris as he scares the crap out of the EU. I’ve said before though that in a few years that the Scottish Conservative leader, Ruth Davidson, could make an excellent leader. I want someone that will stand up for the U.K. and show a bit of passion for our country and compassion for its people......

I think most of them now realise that May is plainly out of her depth, and she's never going to see them over the line in another election.
The only issue is the timing of when they bullet her. Mogg has pushed himself to the fore, Leadsom has shown herself to be stronger than May.....
They didn't see that when they all either voted for her or got quite comprehensively beaten by her in the last leadership thing barely a year ago? Give over.
