It’s almost like he threw her on the table, threw up her dress and rogered her to within an inch of her life...oh no, wait, he took an uninvited protester and threw her out.......bouncers do it every day of the week.....
Just seen what he did to the protester
Seemed like it kind of came out of nowhere, but the version I saw had no audio. Was she yelling at him or something?
Either way, it seemed like a complete overreaction on his part, although I'm not sure it's a legal matter. The court of public opinion seems to be doing a pretty big number on him as it is
Well, she did remark that he needs to go to anger management classes, so it seems a reasonable leap to suggest she thought he was rough, but his actions really didn't warrant criminal investigation. Whatever her motives though, it's bizarre how other people are getting so much angrier about this than she herself is. People have whipped themselves up into a frenzy on Twitter.
He's not a bouncer though, and there's no way they throw her out like that.
Two other thoughts, first is that security have let them down big time. The other though is shelled has got really lucky. He didn't seem to make any effort to ascertain who she was (no questions asked). He just looks at her and makes a value judgement and rushes to a disproportionate action. Imagine if she'd have been at the event and he acted so rashly.
To be fair, you can perhaps make an argument for the first bit (though to me it's hugely questionable). The 2nd part though is unnecessary and in breach of most rules. If I pulled a stunt like that with a kid who had wrongly came into my class, I'd love to be able to use the excuse that he had a bag. I'll let you work out how that excuse would go down!

I think she had a banner on her stating something about climate change, together with other women who did similar, so was obviously not a guest.........I think he was unwise to react and should have left it to those who are paid to do it.......but still....

Well no, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility a Tory would wear such a banner, you do get a fair few tories who are bothered about climate change. It could quite easily have been a guest and he'd have looked a right tit if they were.
He should have asked her what she was doing. It didn't look like any question was asked.
Maybe I'm being harsh and he panicked (it would be interesting to hear his side of events) but I winced watching it. It looks like a grown man taking delight in dragging a woman around.
I can understand his frustration, but he took it out at the wrong place. He should have had a word with security. But my own opinion would be he lacks the bottle to go and antagonise a security guard in the same way he did with a woman.
He'd have done bugger all if it was a man. Typical tory bully
We see the video from one direction, what we don’t see is what he saw, lots of women in red dresses with banners invading a private dinner with the Chancellor........
No and thats fair enough. There's a lot at play really. I think he's entitled to be frustrated, thats kind of the point of a protest. I find them annoying and I agree with them broadly! However you can't go dragging people around (or women around) in the way he did just because you don't like people.
The other point is a PR point. It looks terrible. There may be better angles for him, but it's pretty disastrous from a PR viewpoint for a party that lost middle aged women as voters. People will not be happy at Tory HQ I am sure.
I reiterate really his anger ought to be directed at the security. Lashing out at a woman is never going to play well amongst the public.
