Has Gove pulled out?
“I don’t believe that I’ve ever on any occasion failed to tell the truth about this when asked directly,” he said, when asked if he declared his past drug use to US authorities. The Electronic System for Travel Authorisation visa waiver form for entry into the US asks: “Have you ever violated any law related to possessing, using or distributing illegal drugs?”
A spokesman later said Gove had taken legal advice from a QC who is “satisfied that Michael completed his forms correctly”.
It's a shame his old man didn't ...Has Gove pulled out?
that doesn't really address the issue in play here though, these are people who advocate hardline policies on drugs against the advice of many experts and for the purposes of appealing to their electorate, that's the issue here and to play the old 'they are all as bad as each other' line is a bit thin
I reckon Boris has been on ket as well - it would explain a lot.The drug cabinet.

I didn't see any mention of the legislation they tried to push through on drug use in her tweets? That would have made them interesting rather than the fact that wealthy people took drugs when they were younger. Without that it just becomes tittle tattle that's scarcely relevant.
The tories have traditionally taken a hardline approach though. None of the candidates are proposing redical reforms including rehabilitation etc. If you ask me they're all hypocrites.
Problem with the tories and legalisation is that a number of their backbenchers hold high profile positions within the alcohol and baccy companies, and nothing will happen until they come to some tax/finnacial agreement over it, especially with regards to the CBD/weed thing.I didn't see any mention of the legislation they tried to push through on drug use in her tweets? Whilst mp's, and introducing legislation, no? 'when younger' is a bit vague as well.Oh I quite agree. I just think that's what they should focus on rather than the fact they took drugs when they were younger.
haha, here is a good conflict of interest for you Bruce mate: British Sugar who have an area the size of 25 football pitches in Norfolk where they grow a sh**load of medical weed which is then sold abroad to the US and Canada and others, is run by a guy called Paul Kenwood, his wife is the Tory drugs minister!!! also just to top the whole project off, it is funded by Mrs Mays husbands company.Really? I didn't know that. Must be a clear conflict of interest.

I've often wondered how politics is regulated (primarily from a spouting blatant lies perspective), but it does seem that they can say and do what they like.
