I'm ashamed of this country, not so much the government as they aint mine (but the rank and file that are trying to fight their way out of the gutter that've put these abusers in). So far as jail goes, the first thing they do is insulate themselves, watch how little travel there is when the post office scandal finally lands a few punches.
As for doing good, that's not the tory way, dismantle, destroy, denigrate, then provide a solution at a hyper inflated cost.
The absurd thing is, it could actually be worse, it could be some trump type making a play for the big chair here. I fully expect eventually some malignant personality will give it a try.

IMO Farage will pitch himself as the Tories white knight, and they will lap up even more dog whistling fascism like the wannabe-KKK that they are.

In all of the time the Rwanda policy has been on the table, I haven't once heard anyone debate whether using the power of the state to forcibly send human beings to a country against their will in return for money isn't morally reprehensible.

Have literally just been with someone who believes Sunak has done the right thing. Nice person the type who would help anyone but like many falls for this immigration stuff. Pointed our law and international law and we are basically legitimising the likes of Putin as we no longer can hold him to account. There was pause for thoughts...
