I'm a bit dissaointed little media scrutiny has been given over to the Great British Insulation scheme. https://www.gov.uk/apply-great-british-insulation-scheme

Really curious to know how it is working. My personal experience suggests badly - farming the process out to energy providers is seeing them duck the more expensive insulation or offer inflated contribution figures. I can get things done more cost effectively myself,for less than the quoted contribution.

Problematic if you can't afford it.
