I can save you / them the bother - it’s the same reason why the wife of the next in line to the throne was forced into revealing deeply personal health information the other day, the same reason why we saw a wave of cops, civil servants and others banged up a decade ago for corruption (without any of the people who corrupted them facing similar punishment), and why the law is being repeatedly changed in order to prevent them being protested against / outbid in commercial deals / stopped from mining people’s lives for their own financial benefit.

Thanks to their cuts, which started under Johnson, London has lost hundreds of police stations, its residential police training college, hundreds of police officers and staff and a big chunk of its budget. Police officers across the country had no or below inflation pay “rises” for nearly ten years and the Tory government made the pension worse and required longer service to get said pension.
So in short, sod the Tories.
