(based on the £11.44 rate for 37.5hr weeks). They'll save £341/yr. Someone on £50k will save £1310/yr.

The Tories trying to get rid of NI payments is unfair, they say -

1. It is a contribution for your old age pension working or on benefits, even signing on as unemployed, or any benefits .
2. It is a payment first delivered for above plus to contribute to the NHS
3. Most of the population have an NI number for identification purposes
4. Getting rid of it IMO - proves that all of the above will be lost down the line if they stay in power -
5. A complete manoeuvre for privatisation of the NHS - private pensions - & great for the rich & wealthy in the future -

The same Chancellor has decided to stand in the next election after backtracking has just donated £100, 000 of his own money to his local conservative office where he stands to try & win his seat in the next election as the Lib Dems are favourite to beat him .....

Great Budget not - This unscrupulous person has only got on by being in the right place at the right overhearing a conversation with Cameron & Rupert Murdoch allegedly also the time & talked about cutting back paperwork in the NHS when he was the NHS Health minister ....

thatcher brought buy your own homes in for threefold reasons, owners were responsible for upkeep, owners had an asset they could be threatened with having taken away, and thus the populace were much less inclined to strike.
