The government has failed miserably in its one and only job: to protect its citizens. And by proxy, the people that voted for this party time-after-time also shoulder that blame - boomers and the wealthy.
You are not a successful man because you are skilled, intelligent or otherwise...you were born into a generation with all the opportunity in the world, built off your daddies and uncles sacrifices in the war.
I'm sure you're a grafter and you took some risks back in the day, but here's the rub of it that you just don't get...and that you'll never, ever get: the generations after you do not/did not get the opportunities that were afforded to you to better ourselves and our families - and we're quite rightly pissy about it. And being told that we are selfish, spoilt and useless, when in the cold light of day, it's you and yours that are selfish and spoilt, proven by your politcal thinking (of lack of) and your voting decisions that, and be in no doubt, have taken away opportunity for aspiring young people - who were just like yourself 50 years ago... and also driven the real poor into abject poverty.

…..think Labour are missing a trick with Sunak’s broken record; “we have a plan, Labour will take you back to square one’.
When the Tories won power, immigration was a fraction of what it is now & there were ‘no boats’, no NHS waiting lists & ambulances responding quickly to emergency calls, no shortage of medicines, children actually attended schools and they were not crumbling, police investigated crime and were visible on the street and we had a decent sized armed force.
Labour should be proud of ‘square one’, ram that phrase down their throats and watch them stop using it.

I know quite a few 'young' folk who voted Tory, often not wealthy either. This is before the Boris/Brexit election. Not to mention for Brexit itself.
