I remember people laughing at the thought of Johnson becoming Mayor of London. Even hardened Tories like Pete never thought he would become PM as he’s always been a joke.

It's an enticing prospect, but I can't get too excited. I'm also suspicious of their motives. Have a feeling they'll be campaigning for a new leader hard soon. So we'll see Boris touted, mad shouts for Farage and a probable backing of Badenoch.

Expecting the Tories to do a scorched earth policy so Labour have difficulty governing and they can ease back into power in 5 years.
The spouse visa policy, with the wage requirements increasing from 29 to 39 thousand in a year feels like this kind of trap. Labour will likely have to make changes as its unworkable and then subsequently get accused of being weak on immigration.
