Seriously Pete… unless you’re living in a very small privelaged bubble you cannot fail to see what is going on in this country at the moment… it’s on its knees and getting progressively worse … I’m not arsed who’s in power but they really need to cut out the petty bullshiite and be honest with the public… the place is a shambles ffs
Don't think that's very nice, but you do have a history of it. You clearly do live in a bubble, lots of people do Pete, that's why people make friends because of what they have in common. You're getting on, you don't see much of the world, you have your little echo chamber and life is good. And that's fine! But there's bigger problems out there that won't affect you but the generations to come.
Anyway, as no one can either tell us all how badly they’ve been affected by Brexit, nor indeed how anyone they know has been negatively affected by Brexit, I’ll leave it there, bid you all good night and put my wife to bed. Goodnight guys…….

I’ve seen more more of the world than you can even imagine. I have kids and family based all around the world. You could try and do a comparison if you wish, but you will lose. But then I’ve never been a citizen of Cambodia……..

But none of that is important to how you see things in it's current state Pete. I have no idea why you're driving at competition and ego and insults over me simply saying the UK is a horrible place to live now.

Pete you’re deliberately closing your eyes and are not willing to see the mess this current government have caused … they are the worst government in living memory …this may not mean much to you Pete but it pains me to say that I am disgusted with your attitude… we’ve had our differences of opinion over the years but have always been respectful of each other which I found to be great.. I don’t know you personally but I’ve never been one of the sheep who’ve attacked you .. it’s been a mutual respect I hope … but now, in all honesty Pete I feel your selfish and obtuse attitude to those who’ve not been as lucky as you have through their life’s journey absolutely revolting… and it upsets me to say that to you.

….recommendation that Conservative MP Scott Benton receives a 35 day ban for undeclared earnings. It’s likely it will trigger a bi-election in his Blackpool constituency where he holds a small majority.
That doesnt really answer my question, what are the benefits of not being in the EU?
You use Germany, I counter that with Ireland, who are thriving post Brexit.
Two-thirds of the British public think Brexit has damaged the economy, while even among Leave voters only one in five think the impact has been positive. This column looks at the evidence across three key dimensions – trade, migration and investment – as well as the overall macroeconomic impacts. The impact on trade overall appears to have been broadly consistent with predictions so far, that on immigration much less negative (and perhaps even positive) and on investment somewhat worse. Perhaps the best estimate of the negative impact on Brexit on UK GDP to date is 2–3% of GDP.

It's been pretty positive for Jacob Rees Mogg, who immediately moved his Company to Ireland and made a killing...oh that's grifting by getting out of a brexit Country...
