I agree with everything you say, mate. I really do.

Ultimately, I'm not suggesting that people reject their inheritances based on some misguided notion that it will lead to some better world. They've got us all over the barrel on this one, and nothing short of some global revolution that doesn't just involve a power shift (to some other group of elite leeches) but a completely new way of thinking in the majority of people.

Never gonna happen, because it's just not human nature. We get occasional respites after some mass calamity (the period after WW2 for example) but after a generation or two the lessons are forgotten and the money starts getting scooped back upwards.

I see it as the complete opposite. Me and my mates never really had a chance to buy houses in the UK, save etc. like my parents generation and the generation before. Inheritance will give us some breathing room later in life. It's a different world - and not a good one.

I mean, my grandfather was a blue collar worker and sits on an £800k house. 90% of that is utterly luck. Not hard graft - just luck. My mother sits on two houses at £1m. She didn't have a job until she was 38. Again sheer luck.

That 'luck' doesn't exist anymore and no amount of 'hard work' 'working harder' is ever going to give me these opportunities.
make sure he leaves a will or king big lugs will steal it

He's been in the job 10 days, already a proven liar, the worst bunch of politicians ever, and people still vote for them.

Still going
James Cleverly had denied claims he called the Stockton North constituency a swearword in response to a question in the Commons from Alex Cunningham.

The source said on Thursday: "James made a comment. He called Alex Cunningham a [Poor language removed] MP. He apologises for unparliamentary language."

The source close to Mr Cleverly added: "As was made clear yesterday, he would never criticise Stockton. He's campaigned in Stockton and is clear that it is a great place."

lol lol lol

Jesus wept. I’m not even convinced Labour will be any better, but I’m so fed up of hating this same shower of liars, chancers and conmen.

I’ll happily see Labour in power just for a new set of faces to hate.
Not especially enamoured with the current state of the Labour Party but that quote could only come from a Tory. They show what they really are now and then.
Remember this is the head of the Home Office saying this and subsequently brazenly lying to us all.

As if he’s blatantly lied to say he didn’t say it. Would have more respect if he said yeah I did say it.
Reckon He’ll have to rail back on saying the guy was a [Poor language removed] MP soon as well and admit he called Stockton a shithole. Must be a reason he’s come out with this as it wasn’t even that clear from the footage.

He’s clearly trying to give an explanation for something that was reasonably clearly heard. But unless a load of people around him at the time come forward and say they heard it he’ll stick with this position. Which is still a very stupid thing for him to say. But who is really going to push the issue without a clearer recording of it showing he definitely said it?
