There isn’t a Conservative Party to have a balanced debate with. They just pedal lies and conspiracy theories. They make pledges they never deliver on or even plan to. This bunch of tories are light years away from a traditional Conservative Party/voter (which you probably are). These are one step away from facists. All we can do is slag them off and hope the country consign them to the dustbin.

I know I'm hoping for the earth, but wouldn't it be nice, just for once, for your party to stop lying. The utter shamelessness that flows from their maw is staggering ; every day they lie, how can you support a party that will say and do anything (whether true or not), in a desperate attempt to cling to power ?

I just don't get the intolerance of "cutting off" friends and family who vote for a different, mainstream and legal political party. Calling people "vermin" for having different beliefs... I don't care about how about someone votes privately. A decent person is a decent person.

Hatred and intolerance goes hand in hand with being a bigot.

Yes. This is one of the reasons why they are no longer a true conservative party. They have no business interfering in personal liberty decisions that effects nobody else. People will find alternatives... vaping, buying off others/dealers etc. It will go underground and lose tax revenues. Just like the sugar tax, it's none of their business what people consume. Instead of sugar, people are consuming possibly carcinogenic nasties instead. Well done...
