Just read the posts…and please do not take that tone with me, it really doesn’t work, but you’re new, you’ll learn….,

Why can't you just tell me who you voted without me trawling back through? Wind your neck in about tone, You're the one avoiding a simple question Pete.

What is the purpose of your question. If I said Labour, then what, if I said LibDem or Tory ditto. Is there a tangible reason for you to know. I do not know who you voted for and I have no real wish to know as it adds nothing to any of the debates…..

There's an article every few days about Sunak flying about in helicopters to meetings in the UK.

I don't care if people think other party leaders would do it (they wouldn't), the man either doesn't care what the public think or is completely tone deaf to the public mood and the perception they have of him.

He wants to be an American president flying around on Air Force 1 it hurts. Only issue is the USA is an enormous country necessitating air travel to arrive somewhere timely and the only reason a politician couldn't arrive on time by train is due to strikes or cancellations which would at least give them a taste of what the people who vote for them are putting up with.

This country genuinely needs a revolution in it's thinking of who governs us and how they should meet our expectations.

Why won't you answer? I find it weird that I've asked about 4 times now in response to you saying "don't be silly" and you keep avoiding it.

I find it weirder that you are obsessed with how a stranger voted.

I made a statement about voters and was told "don't be silly" So naturally I'm interested. But, for the grace of the thread I'll leave it there. It's pretty clear anyway.

Indeed, give them a bit of power and it goes to their heads. Boris got around by bike, Sunak uses a helicopter while Air Traffic Control is causing chaos, Kahn uses a bulletproof Range Rover with another one following behind with Police in it. Local Councillors will be doing it next….

Not when he was PM or in high office he didnt. That man is as drunk on power as any of them.

To be honest I'm quite happy for Boris or any PM to be chauffeured around but either the press have only picked up on Sunak using a chopper for inter-city journeys or he's the only one with the brass neck shamelessness to do it and in the midst of a major cost of living crisis for the general public.

Just completely tone deaf politics.

Nor me. Its a bit annoying that the gas bill has meant I have cancelled my helicopter flights mind.

It's not going to be just the PM and a chauffeur though, is it? He will likely be transported in a multiple vehicle escort, involving advanced planning, many police officers etc. I know helicopters are not cheap to run, but would involve far fewer people and be safer.

Is this cheap to do?

Nobody is saying that's cheap however I'm sure a PM has to get around within London and I'm not suggesting the tube. Proper straw man argument you're apparently set on here.

A helicopter compared to a first class rail ticket however? Even with the current eye watering fares you'd be a brave man to suggest a helicopter as more cost effective for inter City travel.
