How have such video's not made it to the surface as yet? Whoever has had it has avoided the police investigation initially, then the Sue Gray investigation, and now the privileges committee investigation. The police know who was there as they were the doormen letting them in, and they are more than capable of pulling active phone records from the nearest transmitter to cross reference those phones.
How have the police managed to miss this glaring set of omissions?

Who is releasing it now, and why now?
I've been a member of this forum for years, so I know the rules around what's allowed to be posted.
But if I wasn't aware of these rules, I'd publicly call for these people, their bosses, and anyone complict in their mishandling of the pandemic (which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people and which consequences will likely kill our NHS) to executed. I'd say something along the line of 'whilst I don't support capital punishment, there are exceptions'.
But I know the rules, so I'll refrain from posting anything of the sort. Don't post stuff like that, it's against the rules.

Well, for a start the party was at CCHQ not Downing Street. Secondly the police can't just get someone's phone records without very good reasons (which almost certainly would not apply in any offence where the likely outcome was a ticket), and in any case its very unlikely that they could have got a hold of this video if no-one has sent it anywhere.
As to why its not surfaced before - I can only imagine this is coming out as part of the drama between Sunak and Johnson.
The chap leading the conga was supposed to be leading the country and was lying to ALL about it ever having happened. Dereliction of duty? Conduct unbecoming? Perjury? Flagrant disregard?

That's the bit I don't get, neither benefit from this now. Johnson is done so if it's a Sunak supporter releasing it, they're 12 months late.
I'm an old romantic, I expect the best most virtuous behaviour from the person occupying the top job in the country to behave according to the standard they are expecting of others. Oh and for whatever criminality or lack thereof it is absolutely his antics in the house that has finally caught up with him for the second time, in that the lies were picked up 9 months ago by the people at his parties he said never happened, and as they saw him burying the lot of them, ousted him and his lies. This latest chapter is hopefully the lead boots on his public career as he's tipped over the side over Beaufort's Dyke.

It’ll benefit Johnson as he will want to bring sunak down whatever he says. Keeps people’s opinions of the tories low with elections coming - which if they lose them all will be a hell of a blow for sunak.
