I saw it, and although I don't like it, I had to remember where he came from (very high up in the CPS) so he's worked alongside dyed in the wool, top tory toffs, and still found his way to the labour front. A cps I hasten to add that has as much blood on it's hands as the criminals in uniform they have enabled by backing said crims to the hilt when their crimes land in court. Sloganeering sadly is the nature of the modern audience, and he's trying a land grab of the middle England tory vote. Whether they believe him is another thing, does he cut through on crime better than sunak does with 'stop the boats'?

He’s succeeding on alienating left wing labour voters very well I think. There’s no chance in hell I’m voting labour under his leadership as I don’t want to vote for a anti-immigration, transphobic incompetent bellend who was massively complicit in knifing Corbyn in the back.
I suspect they/we have no where else to look for sanctuary. The country is on fire, and the knobends with the petrol and the matches need stopping. I accept the lesser of two evils is still evil.
