Suella Braverman: "There are 100 million people around the world who could qualify for protection under our current laws. Let's be clear. They are coming here."

What absolute inflammatory, weapons-grade bullshit. Evil, proto-fascist scumbag.
Sounds like a second rate dystopian film, the utter [Poor language removed]. She should take heed of :

This lot are utterly shameless.
You’d expect to see Farage standing behind that, not the Prime Minister.View attachment 206055
Yeah, I saw that on The Guardian - with Sunak behind it - and thought the Brits have gone full Nazi now.

As an Irishman living in Germany, I am constantly amazed at how mainstream far-right tactics and opinion are in British political life. You'd get this from the AfD in Germany - basically Nazis - but they represent about 10% of the population on a good day. You get it from a tiny lunatic fringe in Ireland, and even Sinn Fein won't go there. But in the UK? I dunno. I suppose if you demonise your fellow Europeans to the extent you leave the EU, it's not a huge leap to attack the weakest people in society looking to claim asylum. And let's not even mention the optics of a brown man standing at a plinth that says "Stop the Boats". Repulsive.

You watch what comes next.... "obviously the great british public didn't like something about sunak and so chose Starmer for whatever reason" tory sickos when they get a pasting in the GE.
I'll be honest. I'm the last person in the world who would vote Tory, but I'll be staggered if the "great British public" votes Sunak back in at the next election. I mean, there are a million reasons to get rid of the Tories, but let's just say that a certain coterie of the electorate need only one.

But then, you live by the sword...

Absolute state of him.
Somehow he's nearer the better end of the rest of them, not least because he leaked (or allowed) the pics of one of number 10's parties took from 11. And if you were one of them that stuck a fraudulent covid loan in, you'd think he was awesome wouldn't you when he just let you off as easy as that.

Oh they wont say it explicit, but they'll run with it in the commons, like how they made a song and dance about the third woman pm and that all three have been tories (they forgot to crow about how all three had been sabotaged by their own party though). "Isn't it telling that labour has another white man leading the country" the barbs of racism will roll from there.

Packaging over content - as if Margaret Thatcher ever did anything but irreparable damage to women.

They need to be reminded that Rishi Sunak was crushed by *checks notes* that intellectual giant Liz Truss when it came to a members' vote last year. He would have been hammered by Johnson too. What do Truss and Johnson have that Rishi doesn't?

Oh.
