Sounds like jumping before being pushed but agree with the second part. By appointing Braverman to try and appease one side means they are likely to retread the same issues very shortly, instead of having unconditional support and letting them get on with the job with the least amount of fuss.

The insulated better off are laughing like hyenas, because the pain and misery is being doled out to the poorest and most vulnerable and that is their elixir of life, and they really giggle it up because so many working class were duped into voting for their own rough treatment. It reinforces their belief that they know best and are born to rule as well as makes the blood and sweat of the common working person a mere footnote in their pursuit of power and gain and status and delivering pain.
