Glad to see youre paying attention lol
Never let a good quote go to waste I say.
But that's the whole point.
Voters...across the country, north and south mind...80+ seat majority remember...in the last election voted for the manifesto (though tbf, many voted against Corbyn - see below)...yeah I know politicians promises etc. based on that coupled with the world as it was.
It was, in hindsight cricket terms, a bad toss to win.

The state we're in now reflects more on the low calibre of all politicians, because I'm not sure Labour would have been any better.
The best I could say is they would probably coqued up in different ways, net result; still total dogs breakfast.

Edit; I promise not to use it for 18mths or until after the next 'Event' comes along - which it will.
There are no UK statesmen anymore I'll give you that. The likes of Tony Benn or Heseltine would've torm strips off these windbags we have now.

Apparently the ERG is already split on who to back as they know Braverman won't get enough nominations and some of the ERG are against Bojo.

So ultimately, even the factions are becoming factions. There really is no way out of this for them.

which is why we need a General Election, no rational ideas, ploys, just gimmicks, get out now.

Johnson coming back will lead to more of a split party and more disruptive politics, so if they do it they do it. Hopefully that will finish the scum off for good.
We the people of the UK thought we were getting a leader, the tory party membership gave us a whoopee cushion with a face drawn on it. Have they got the balls to do it again? I think they may.

Definitely agree.

But, the agenda around Bojo having a mandate is being pushed. Despite the fact he had 57 resignations from his cabinet in July, broke the law, misled parliament and was ousted because the public view was that he needed to go and he had no support within his party.

But you know, a mandate from 3 years ago before all that....
