Its worrying times indeed mate, but we have to ask ourselves is burying our heeds in the sand to what's happening around us going to make things easier in the long run?
Imo the Reason why the political landscape is so chaotic worldwide is because the West has dropped the ball over the last few decades and sat back and appeased rogue states/emerging rivals in fear of either "nuclear warfare" or appeasing the left of politics domestically who still suffer guilt over the days of empire.
Putin invaded Ukraine because he saw a West ran by weak leaders.
The more we act like soy boys in the political arena the more these tyrants like Putin and the CCP will keep pushing their luck you feel.
Just another insult created and used by the alt right and white nationalists etc for men they consider to be effeminate because those said men are feminist, leftist and care about civil rights and the environment etc.I have no idea what a soy boy is.
I would suggest more bollocks, either literally or figuratively, are unlikely to help resolve most of the issues facing us.Just another insult created and used by the alt right and white nationalists etc for men they consider to be effeminate because those said men are feminist, leftist and care about civil rights and the environment etc.
Same as snowflake or how "woke" is often used by the daily mail in a derogatory way. Which are also insults used by the above poster.
*shrug* I sleep fine, but it is also fairly evident that I am not wired like most people. The global political landscape is a bonfire mate.
Actual nazis getting power in Italy, The UK doing its very best to set fire to everything it owns, China doing stuff, Russia, God knows whats going on in Iran, Syria, the Middle East, global warming, worldwide recession and all that is whats happened this week and its still only Wednesday.
So to be frank, screw all that, im off to play World of Tanks, cos if you really ponder the above, will you sleep again?
Agreed. I also would suggest that most of the posts made by the poster who used the term "soy boy", are also total bollocks. So therefore, less bollocks are needed.I would suggest more bollocks, either literally or figuratively, are unlikely to help resolve most of the issues facing us.

Either works. Less is used in the context I used it in daily language now (and has been for a long time). You understood what I meant so it doesn't make a difference and it comes down to personal preference.* fewer
Calm down mate. You made a minor, common error of grammar - nothing more. I do it too sometimes. No need to tip the tables and chairs over.Either works. This is also an informal setting and doesn't follow the "standardised rules" of language.
No need to spend your time pointing it out then is there. Especially when what I said still made sense. I just don't get peoples need to point out other peoples minor mistakes.Calm down mate. Putin invaded Russia because the soyboys of "The West" were too busy appeasing people who had issues with racism, homophobia and other forms of discrimination. Its worrying times indeed mate, but we have to ask ourselves is burying our heeds in the sand to what's happening around us going to make things easier in the long run?
