What would it take to force an early election?

Not sure if matters at this point. Even if we get a change of government, it won't be possible to repair the damage done in one term of office. It will take decades to get us back to where we were in 2010.

We were already at the point where there was no fat left before this "fiscal event". We all know about the problems in the NHS and social care, but education, police, prisons, court services, have been on their knees for years too due to cuts.

All public services delivered by local authorities have been cut to the bone, and the DWP are taking 6 months to process applications for some benefits, which aren't enough to live on.

I never voted last time because of the two leaders of both major parties - Vote for ED Milliband OK - plus if you dont like Brexit vote Lib Dem ......

On a plus points they'll be able to save a huge amount on staffing costs at HMPO, the Immigration office, Nationality Directorate and HMRC

No one will have money to go on holidays so no need for passports, no one's gonna want to come to Britain to emigrate and thus nobody applying for citizenship and no one will have jobs so won't have to pay tax.

NHS will be able to be reduced as well as a large part of the costs are on elderly patients who'll be freezing to death unable to afford heating. This in turn reduces the pension costs the country will have to pay.

Now if all this coincides with another pandemic then the Tories will have hit the mother load
