under this bunch? once strikes hit and someone loses their grandma and gets truncheoned over the head live on tv for shouting the odds it's gonna go pop and then some. a quite horrendous media are currently sewing the seeds of discord and agony and squarely pointing the finger. they'll be there for the pics, they'll be there to analyse and pass judgement, they love it, "we'll show trump and his maniacs on the storming of the senate...get a load of what we can egg on". Pain pushes people to extremes, and theres plenty extreme about already. [pardon the serious note, its not against you]

One interesting thing about democratic governments is that they tend to solve problems once things reach crisis levels. They suck at  averting crises for a variety of reasons, but they tend to deal with them once they arrive.

If Truss doubles down on fiddling while Rome burns, she won't last long because the rest of the Tory MPs won't want to go down with the ship.

If banks effectively can't lend to one another overnight due to sufficiently great levels of uncertainty and price swings, there will be liquidity issues in short order. I didn't think things are  that bad, but I thought I had better check.
