Cost of living has not hit yet, wait until those bills start coming through the letter box. Although, have really heard uptick in concerns this week on food price increases.
Those energy bills just around the corner now.
Food next year will go through the roof , red diesel which farmers use is up 100% , fertiliser is up 300% for next year, most farmers buy for the year so that hasn't come into play yet.
That means there will be Hugh cost rises or shortage of foodstuffs.
Co2 shortage as well.
It's a perfect storm come tbe winter and new year.
The Tories are done, they will call a early election and try and get out of the way before it hits.

It seems there are two plans emerging from the Cons and Labour, both with the same outcome of freezing bills, BUT, with two very different ways of paying for it.

The Cons seem to favour handing over 60 billion to the energy companies in order to freeze bills and then paying for it in the form of higher taxes for us further down the line.

Labour also want to freeze bills but pay for it by taxing the profits made by energy companies and at NO extra cost to the public.

Which method would GoTers prefer?

I do worry that the Tories will call a snap general election on the back of Truss winning to try and sneak a win on that new leader bounce before the whole economic mess hits the fan.

They'll play every dog whistle trick in the book and no doubt get Boris out and campaigning on the back of a promise or a future job. Likes of Truss knows her limitations and will happily bank a short spell as PM.

I don't know the state of each party's finances though which is key
