Long story short, single parent family, my mar didnt like football so my kopite auntie offered to take me the match, she took me to Anfield and I didnt really enjoy it, took me to Goodison and we spanked United 5-0, the end.

From a wool point of view, went to an all boys school, was mostly 50/50 with the odd Manc, who we would beat up on the regs and the odd Tranmere fan, who we would pity on the regs.

If we'd gotten snotted that day, we might not have our Goat. *shudders

After being brought up in a family of Kopites my Dad was never going to let me be a kopite so he bought me an Everton top the day after I was born. Thank God.

On the blue and red thing, from School and that I've found it's around 60% blues and 35% reds. 5% other teams through out the country.

Really? Do you think that because you come from a particularly blue area of the city though? I don't think anyone would argue it's 60/35 in our favor throughout the city. What area did you grow up in?

Hahaha, I think they won when I went there, just didnt really feel right, as soon as I walked into Goodison it just felt like I belonged, we never choose, we are always chosen.

You know mate, I've been thinking about that. Modern economics tells us we need a new stadium...but so many people I've talked to have said the same thing. They went to Goodison for the first time and everything changed.

If we ever do get the money to build a new stadium, what do we lose and is it worth it for what we gain?

Not really JDawg. I'm from Kirkby, outside of Liverpool but not wool (Check Chico's map).

It's to do with Modern football really, my year of lads, it's more Everton than Liverpool but in the younger years it's Liverpool, United, Everton and Chelsea. Not a clue why but that's how it is at the minute. Gloryhunters.

Also, after the tapestry thing, my dad (massive blue) then took me to my first game, aged 3. Went to pretty much every game, home and away, for the next 30 yrs. Then through work, the Walter years etc, started missing some.

I love Goodison, but its not fit for purpose, maybe 20 years ago, but not now, when you consider that Arsenal make more per game than we do in a season, it kinda suggests we should move.

(My figures might be slightly made up)

Actually Kirkby is pretty wool mate, chicos map was slightly biased in the place he "lived".

my family is split brothers are red and me and my mum both blue all went the game, my brothers tried to make me a red . kits going the match ect , wasnt really that bother about footy to be honest, but as soon as i got to about 6 and took an intrest it was Everton and there wasnt any any mistake were my loyalties lay.
Used to go both games for a while wasnt much fun supporting the away team on the kop most of the time those days but on the odd occasion it was brillant, luckly there were loads with my brother so it was safe , although looking back it was a bit daft.
Most areas are pretty even i would say , due to the rent a crowd latching onto there glory days it seems to be more in there favour , but match going fans its about fifty fifty or slightly in are favour in some parts.
Are we diffrent ? dont know really we were in the late 70,s 80,s just like night and day , the more they got into kopite stuff the more we went the other way , no singing ,colours ect and we seemed to have more of the skinhead /punk element in the parkend than they did over at anfield, but the might be as we had smaller crowds than they did they stood out more, our lads tended to be more tight knit than them as well, we were just everton, they had sub crews Huyton, lawerence rd, breck the bruvvers, and a fair few others , dont believe the hype we were always just everton no other name.
now i am not to sure its as easy to see the diffrence, just we tend to be better looking and live in the uk
