Anything is worth what someone will pay for it and I promise you nobody will ever pay more for Brighton than Everton - even if they have recently turned good profits by buying and selling smartly (I can only assume that’s where they’ve got their overinflated number from)

Then look at West Ham. Traditionally a yo yo club. Negative
Waste loads of money and find themselves wrong end of the table. Negative
Don’t own a ground. Negative
Have an aging poorly performing squad. Negative

But erm they’re in London so put them in seventh

West Ham have a much bigger turnover than us.

They are actually in the top 20 clubs in Europe for turnover according to Deloitte.

West Ham have a much bigger turnover than us.

They are actually in the top 20 clubs in Europe for turnover according to Deloitte.

A quick google says you’ve looked at a chart that has them 17th between the years 2020-2024 which was during their best ever times with European football (even a trophy cheers Moyes) versus us in our worst ever period falling foul of made up rules with points deductions and spending restrictions whilst we bought and were yet to benefit from our beautiful new ground. Even with all that we were still 27th on the same Deloitte chart.

So yes, today, beautiful ground built and the squad looking a bit better versus West Ham with no European football, no ground and five points off safety over Christmas - we are the more valuable club I’ve no doubt.

I'm not sure I could care any less.

All I care about is that we are now secure financially which allows us the grow the squad.

I have no interest at all in the valuation of the club based on the fact I won't be able to afford to buy it anytime soon

It was the 23/24 season, West Ham had a 43% higher turnover than us. They have been like this for the past few seasons and probably in the same region when the next set of accounts come out.
