Some nice grounds to watch cricket in nz it looks like on telly. Lot better than huge half full stadiums like here

NZ Cricket has done a lot of great work on the smaller, "boutique" grounds in NZL. As you say, better to see a grass embankment filled with people than a large half-empty stadium. Bay Oval in Tauranga, Hagley Oval in Christchurch, McLean Park in Napier, and Saxton Oval in Nelson are probably the best. Also these generally produce great pitches for limited-overs cricket.

Chucked a tenner on england winning the world Cup. Thankfully I did it before that first odi. We should be seeing our standards high and looking to win all these one day games v aus, we have a fearless one day team.

Another excellent performance today by England.
Scores : Australia 270-9, England 274-6, 44.2 overs.
Root named man of the match, taking 2-31 off 7 overs and scoring 46 n.o. Other notable contributors include Bairstow (60), Hales (57), Buttler (42) and Woakes (39 n.o.)
Bowling wise the wickets were shared. Finch for the Aussies made 106, the next highest score being 36.
The third match is on Sunday.
