As for the night games, having test cricket to watch after 6pm is ace Ive decided.

It's good for you folks but a pain for us since it doesn't start until 3am. With the first test starting at midnight here it meant that it was feasible to watch the first session.

Working nights so I didn't see it but that sounded like a great day's play. The reviews went England's way today and it made a huge difference.everything seemed to go Australia's way before. Game on

The Aussies were definitely rattled today. But credit where it’s due, Cummins and Lyons bowled beautifully. However even they were overshadowed by Jimmy Anderson. Yes he had helpful conditions under the lights yesterday, but was equally impressive under perfect batting conditions today. Stating the obvious a massive day tomorrow. If somehow we could manage to sneak a win (Aussies are still favourites in my eyes) then the pressure on Steve Smith will be enormous. Not enforcing the follow on and poor use of DRS, could see him lose this test from an unattainable position, which could affect his form and captaincy throughout the series.
