i noticed the media spin on this issue because nearly everyone i knew growing up was harassed/battered/fitted up by the police. thats what the police do. whatever your appearance they would goad you into reacting- its what the police do. no matter what your skin colour they want a collar.

go to the Philippines or Mexico and see how the police treat you. we`re just a bank for them to rob.
