It's pretty evident Allan was a Carlo signing but I forgot in hindsight how abysmal of a signing he was, quality for the first ten or so games , got injured then was awful , his pace had evaporated so he was being out manuavered on the regular and unlike Barry he couldn't stay anchored in the back and would get pulled everywhere on the pitch. Obviously an exceptional player at one time, but too injury prone, faded physically and not physically imposing enough for the Premier League as a midfielder
 
Iwobi deffo wasn't his, nor were the obvious Carlo ones or Rondon. Eventually he rightly decided his role was untenable and walked. To be fair, bad as things were back then we've actually plummeted since he left. He really wasn't the issue.
