Might be wrong but Hebrew name I think , firearm named after someone’s forename I believe rather than in this case what could appear to be the reverse .

I don't know if that's enough, at least Texas and Louisiana are open carry and concealed carry without permit. Owning guns isn't nearly a big enough issue to discuss when the reality is in so much of the US it's lawful to carry them (nearly) everywhere all of the time.
According to the web, there's only four states in the entire country that do not allow open carry, although the caveat some require a permit.
Apparently, there are over thirty states do not require a permit for open carry, and another ten allow it with a permit. That's frightening!
You just have to assume anyone you meet is carrying, it's really troublesome
