Not the US but seems an appropriate thread . Following the inquest relating to the horrific mass murder in Plymouth I think there will be some serious blowback to the system .
It seems the police have , for a change , made a huge and catastrophic mistake or actually a couple which resulted in this individual keeping his licence when it was wholly inappropriate. Now in its aftermath apparently GP’s are refusing to submit reports on whether someone is suitable and are only prepared to submit full medical records for the police to make that decision. As I understand the belief is the system is going to be unable to process this amount of information so without changes the speculation is it’ll collapse . As medical records are just part of the process .
I’ve been told this by someone that requires a shotgun as part of their everyday life and seems to be extremely concerned by developments . I would add they also think people who’ve made the initial errors should probably be facing charges .

Well done by Jon. The guy from Oklahoma probably knows he’s wrong and just won’t say it out loud because then he wouldn’t get re-elected because of the ignorance of his constituents. He’s not putting guns or the 2nd amendment first. He’s putting himself and his political aspiration above the lives of those children. That’s the problem.
