i'm not a conspiracy nut, but it does leave the question open: why did the camera cut out at precisely that moment?

I found a clip of the stream from the day before because I was confused by that and it looks like they have the camera on the players go away at points to show the entire screen of the game so I guess just incredible timing is all it was.

That was the one that I always go back to, if not that then what? However I have a deep fear that at some point we may see something worse as the people that do these kind of things to make a mark on the world have so many large scale acts of evil to even get into any top 20 after what has happened recently.

I hope I am wrong. I'm sick of my heart sinking to the floor.

I've got to be honest something bigger than Las Vegas could absolutely happen if someone was sick enough to actually take the time to find the opportunity for maximum carnage. Getting automatic or at least high rate of fire semi-automatic guns is easy, it's impossible to always keep track of where people take these kinds of weapons and it's also impossible to control every area around every large crowd.

That is the fear and the reason why automatic/semi auto weapons have no place in any modern day society that isn't fighting a war.

Yep its clearly a production thing. They switch between cameras and footage at intervals and judging by the commentary in the clip they didn't realize the shooting started until the third shot so its possible neither did the production van/room team who controlled the footage. I suspect it will come out later that they have more footage of the actual shooting which will most likely never see the light of day and will be handed over to the authorities.

The video game culture here is horrible, loads of anger and misogyny and really unpleasant people. Sadly it was not very hard to correctly guess what happened here.

These shootings are just sad for everybody involved, including the person committing the act. Total waste of promising life.

Most of the time, the ones doing the shootings are from broken homes, get bullied, or have other mental health issues.

That’s no different to the young people in this country, the difference being that they wouldn’t have easy access to guns over here and we have free healthcare that allows these people to get the help that everybody deserves. Not having to worry about how much going to a therapist would cost.

How America can call itself a developed nation and still allow this to continue is beyond me.

I absolutely abhor that channel with every fibre of my being. If I see it on in a bar I ask the bartender to turn it off. Get yelled at "Why you turning it off??" You want "news", turn on the local channel.

The day can't come quick enough when that channel is regulated.

I was arguing with some mad coot on Facebook after one of the many school shootings of recent years, and he argued that they should abolish public schools.

Only in America can crazy people with guns murder kids in schools and someone seriously suggest that schools be banned

It is not the guns that are the problem Prev, when will you learn? It is access to public schools, video games, movies, left wing academia that emasculates boys, unarmed teachers, drugs, liberal media, vaccines and/or (enter argument du jour here) that is the real problem - after all guns don’t kill, people do...

Very true. Together with the concussion problems and various domestic violence incidents that have involved players down the years. Obviously this game is the root of all evil. Can you contact your local representative to get this put before the house asap? May want to do so anonymously or give the name of a republican you dislike as the backlash maybe pretty harsh - remember until we ban the game they will still be mindless hate filled zombies...

The ignorance of sitting their and discussing how "we ban things that are a risk to our children's health" while vehemently opposing any kind of gun control is just staggering. If you didn't know that it was real you might think that it's a parody.
