Personally, I'd sit Stones out. If Coleman is injured he'll no doubt slot in at RB. But as shaky as Distin and Jagielka have been I'd rely on their greater experience in Derbies.

Hmm, for me we look a lot better at the back with Stones there. The sh1te will press shish - so our defence need to be confident on the ball.

Don't think Pienaar will start, straight into a Derby game from injury I don't think is Martinez way.

Howard
Coleman Stones Distin Baines
Mccarthy Barry
Naismith
Eto'o Lukaku Miralles

If Coleman doesn't play, then Martinez played Mccarthy RB in closing stages of Palace game...only messing. Stick Besic in there, better than playing Stones in that position.

He rushed Pienaar back for the Mersey Derby last year....and Jags/Ross if my memory serves me correctly...

I think if Pienaar is deemed fit he will play

Can see Sterling ripping Jagielka a new arse hole here to be honest.

Is Little Richard playing ? I thought he was so fast he needs a month to recover if he plays twice in a week.

I've only just remembered, didn't he play 120 minutes the other night, kinell he may even be dead.

and they shouldn't of been. none of them where match fit and it was blatantly obvious from the first 5 minutes.

Derby week is cursed .. this time last week we battered a very solid Bundisliga side. Since then we've conceded 6 .. How has this happened?

Cursed.

I'd like our team to all get in zorb balls at Anfield. We aren't going to win so we may as well protect the players and do a bit of team bonding.

I think Pienaar and Coleman will start. I'd line up like this:

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Baines
McCarthy Barry
Mirallas Naismith Pienaar
Lukaku

Eto'o Oviedo and McGeady/Kone off the bench.

IF Pienaar isn't fit - Oviedo wide left for me.

This, all day long. Pienaar is a much better option than McGeady but I doubt he'll start given his match fitness (or lack of).

FFS, just want this to be over with!

We finished 4 of our 7 or 8 decent chances, the Germans finished just one of about 18 decent chances - and our defence has had more holes than Ena Sharples hairnet since the start of the season - simples.

They will pin us back in the first 10-15mins coming out the blocks at 100mph

It all depends on of we can hold them off in that period, They score first we are goosed

Can't help but feel you're right, it was deffo the case last season.

But for once I'd like to see us come from behind to win a derby, hell I'd like to see us win a derby a bit more often so I guess beggars can't be choosers.

He's just had months out of football. Let him get a feel for the game with odd sub cameos and starts in our next couple of Europa league games, first.
