If everything comes off, these are 4 players i think/hope/expect Everton to sign

Jill Scott - Last i heard we had been in talks but not sure what type of deal it is

Hanna Bennison - Been in talks and sounds like its gone well - hopefully this one comes off as she's the real deal for someone so young

Aurora Galli - Deal has been done for nearly 2months so not sure why its not been said yet, think a search party may find her faster than Everton announcing that signing

Cecilia Ran Runarsdottir - A 18 year old highly rated International Iceland keeper who has played senior football since the age of 13, and a player that nearly signed for Everton nearly 2 years ago

----
The players start their proper Training this Tuesday with the Like's of Duggan not back for another week, as the last few weeks has been slow and steady to get tests etc done on were they have been in terms of Fitness

Everton have completed the signing of Ireland goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan on a one-year deal.

The 25-year-old joins the Blues after spending two seasons with West Ham United where she left upon the expiry of her contract at the end of last season.

Brosnan becomes the sixth signing in what has been a busy summer for Willie Kirk’s side.

The new signing has made 16 appearances in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League and secured three clean sheets in six appearances last campaign.

The New Jersey-born goalkeeper spoke of her emotion regarding the latest move in her career.

“I’m really excited to be here and take this next step for in my career,” she told evertontv.

“The WSL is one of the top leagues in the world and I have really enjoyed being here for the past two years and I wanted to continue to play in this league.

“Everton is a great Club with a lot of ambition to reach the top of the league so I’m looking forward to working with the team.

“It’s amazing to be part of a Club that is continuing to grow and striving to be better to reach new heights.”

Brosnan joins the goalkeeper pack alongside Team GB Olympian Sandy MacIver and the Club’s new signing hopes the pair can push each other on to become better players.

“Sandy is a great goalkeeper,” she added. “I have seen her in the US system and in this league.

“She’s continued to do well and show herself in this top league.

“I’m looking forward to working with her and competing with her to push this Club to the best it can be.

“That’s the best part about the goalkeepers. You get to work with other amazing girls who have so much talent.

“I think that will be great for me. It will push me to be the best that I can be this year.”

Brosnan joins Kenza Dali, Toni Duggan, Anna Anvegård, Nathalie Björn and Leonie Maier as the Club’s new recruits this summer.

The Ireland international spoke about the “sales pitch” Manager Kirk and the Club made to convince her to make the move to Merseyside and outlined her goals for this season.

“Willie spoke a lot about how he wants the team to play and the goals that the team has,” she added.
“He’s really ambitious and wants to improve individual players as well as the Club as a whole.

“On an individual level, I just want to improve as much as I can and be the best player that I can be throughout this season.

“As a team, we just want to push as high as we can in the table.”

Manager Kirk reflected on another strong signing to add to his ambitious squad.

“She’s a really good acquisition for us, he told evertonfc.com.

“The idea behind signing Courtney is to have someone who is good enough to challenge Sandy but also someone who is young enough to continue to develop and I think we have managed to get both in Courtney.

“She’s been in England for two years now, so she knows the lie of the land and the standards of the Women’s Super League.

“She’s pushing hard to be Ireland’s number one and we’ll support her in that.

“Hopefully she can become Ireland’s number one as well as pushing to be Everton’s number one.”

Do you think we'll still go for Cecilia mate?
Yes she is signing, its a touch delayed as there is a new rule about she has to earn points to be allowed here in the Uk [A Brexit Rule] , she has not Quite reached that yet, we may say her and she may stay were she is a touch longer or it may be delayed till Jan, but she's 100% signing, its just when. we have beat a number of teams to her signature-but this new Keeper today was a signing from nowhere as i heard nothing about this one lol so maybe the delay to the 18 year old is why we signed tis one

Italy international midfielder Aurora Galli has joined Everton on a two-year deal, with an option to extend for a further year to 2024.

Galli, nicknamed ‘Yaya’, becomes the first-ever Italian player to compete in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.

One of the most consistent performers in Italy in recent times, Galli left Juventus at the end of the 2020/21 season after four years with the Turin giants.

The 24-year-old joins the Club with an impressive trophy haul that includes four Serie A championships, three Supercoppa Italiana titles and a Coppa Italia triumph.

With a smile beaming on her face, Galli discussed what it means to sign for the Blues.

“I’m really happy to be here,” she told evetontv.

“I’m looking forward to the start of the season and getting to know the girls, the staff and this Club.

“This is an important move for me. It’s the first time I have moved away from my country.

“I want to help this Club and my teammates achieve something.

“This league is very important. The competitiveness is really high.

“I want to learn from the league, my teammates and the manager to become a better player.”

Galli becomes Everton’s seventh signing during the summer transfer window.

The Italian spoke of the conversation she had with manager Willie Kirk before putting pen to paper at Everton and what she is aiming to achieve in England.

“Willie told me this is a special club,” she added.

“He told me how everyone attacks and defends together, which I like as it’s important to have that togetherness.

“I want to win everything that we can.

“I want to improve myself and my game.

“For the team, I want to get us back into the Champions League as it’s important that this Club plays in Europe.”

Sarvar Ismailov, Everton Women Sporting and Commercial Director, said: “Aurora was the missing piece of the puzzle in our squad.

“Since the departure of Damaris [Egurrola], we needed someone with similar attributes.

“I am a big fan of Aurora’s style of play, the aggression which she brings, and the energy and balance she provides between the midfield and the back four.

“Benvenuta, Aurora.”

Manager Kirk was thrilled to be adding an “all-round” midfielder to a squad that is hungry to win.

“It’s been a deal that we’ve been working on since early in the year,” he told evertonfc.com.

“It’s taken a while to come to fruition, but we finally got there.

“She reads the game very well and makes a lot of interceptions.

“She spoils opposition’s game plan but she’s also very good on the ball.

“Composed technically, she has a good range of passing.

“Anybody who watched the France 2019 World Cup closely can see she can score goals as well.

Galli has got a lot of different attributes and aspects to her game.

“She is an all-round midfielder that gives us really good strength and experience.

“We’ve recruited well. We’ve recruited winners and she is certainly classed as one.”

Galli has begun training with the squad and says she cannot wait to the first game of the season – a home game against Manchester City on 5 September – so she can meet the Evertonians for the first time.

“The support from the fans is so important,” she added.

“I’m glad that they’ll be able to come back to the stadiums to watch the games.

“We need the fans.

“It’s awesome that they will be back as I want to meet them.”
