I thought some of her facial reactions were a tad overdone, especially on split screen, and she was clearly evasive on several questions.

On the flip side Pence laid on the piousness with trowel and was if anything even less subtle at completely dodging the questions asked of him - he didn’t even answer the abortion one iirc.

Mind you, I remember people having the same hot takes last time about Trump winning, before the polls categorically stated he got annihilated.

First hot take though, a dull draw. Pence made a mistake not committing to a peaceful transfer of power.

It’s wasn’t a particularly good debate, and Kamala didn’t slap him around as much as I’d hoped, but a “dull draw” was pretty much no good to Trump/Pence at this stage.

After two debates id say Trump didnt do favours to himself in the first one. Pence easily took this one and showed how fragile B/H campaign is...whats even their slogan, does anybody know lol? Next one will be big.

This might be a better argument if the Republicans hadn’t literally chosen to not bother with putting together an actual platform for this cycle.

Everyone is entitled to their view mate. I certainly don't take it personally, and it's good he comes to different conclusions. No issue with that whatsoever.

Initially polling seems to suggest far from the score draw I suggested it was quite a resounding win for Harris. She improved her popularity, whereas Pence didn't, and she won the debate by upwards of 20% which is a big win really, potentially as big as Biden.

What I think we can safely say, is that she's not an achillees heel for this campaign as some thought she might be.

I hardly know the guy to be honest. He posts well in the Everton forum, and he seems a Trump fan. I'm not sure if he's on a windup, his perogative I suppose!
